With generally lower vehicle pressure than Sri Lanka's busiest wildlife areas, there can be more space to slow down, observe and photograph without constantly chasing the next sighting.

Through extensive time in the field, we follow the individual leopards of Kumana, their territories, behavior, preferred areas and changing movements within the landscape.
As we move through the park, we share this knowledge with our photographers: which individuals use a particular territory, where recent activity has occurred and what behavior we may reasonably expect.
It transforms the safari from simply searching for a leopard into understanding the animal you are waiting to photograph.
